1. What we collect
When you enquire or book we collect the details you give us: name, email, phone number, nationality, passport number, date of birth, travel preferences and any special requirements. Our website also records standard technical data such as pages visited, used to improve the site.
2. Why we collect it
We use your information solely to plan and operate your trip: confirming reservations with lodges and parks, arranging permits, processing payments, and contacting you about your booking by email, phone or WhatsApp. With your consent we may send occasional travel inspiration — you can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Who we share it with
Only the partners needed to deliver your journey: accommodation, park authorities, payment processors (Stripe, PayPal, PesaPal) and, where relevant, our communications providers. We never sell your data. Payment card details are handled entirely by the payment processors and never touch our servers.
4. How long we keep it
Booking records are retained for as long as needed to operate your trip and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to retain it. Email bookings@dare2traveladventures.com and we will respond within 30 days.
6. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled systems. Access is limited to the team members who need it to look after your trip.
